Why a Post Bed Sewing Machine for Hats?
Sewing patches onto hats requires working on curved and structured surfaces that are difficult to access with a traditional sewing machine. The post-bed design raises the sewing area above the machine base, allowing the hat to move freely around the needle. This makes it easier to maneuver and rotate the hat while maintaining accurate stitching along patch borders and curved surfaces.
INDUSTRIAL POWER AND PRECISION
The Techsew 810 combines true industrial sewing power with precise speed control, giving you complete command when sewing patches onto structured hats and apparel.

Post-Bed
The 7” post bed makes it easy to maneuver and rotate hats while sewing, helping position patches accurately and maintain consistent stitching around curved surfaces. The elevated design also provides enough clearance to turn the hat a full 360° without interference from the machine.
Roller Foot
The roller foot glides smoothly over patch materials while reducing friction during sewing. It provides greater control when sewing intricate shapes and curves and makes it easier to stitch very close to patch borders for clean, professional edge stitching.
Reverse Stitching
The reverse lever allows the operator to reinforce stitches at the beginning and end of seams. This helps secure patches firmly in place and improves the durability of the finished stitch.
Built For Commercial Use
With its solid industrial construction, the Techsew 810 is designed for reliable operation in commercial environments. It is suitable for hobby use, small workshops, and large-scale industrial operations.

I had no prior experience in sewing but the 810 pro was extremely easy to use. After sewing over 1000 patches for our first run could not be happier with our purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality sewing machine.

The TechSew 810 Pro was packed very well for shipping and made so it was easy to unpack and place in the shop. I was up and running right away. I use the machine for twill and leather patches on caps and it handles these beautifully. The back up stitch lever is convenient and secures the stitches well. Thanks for the good videos on this machine; they answer many questions that came up.

I had no idea what I was doing and had limited experience with sewing machines. All I knew is I wanted an affordable machine that could sew leather patches on hats. After a call with Ron in sales, with a promise to FaceTime if I had any issues, I was sold. Well, it was one day before I jammed her up good. Tech support got on a FaceTime call to help me out, gave me some valuable tips and told me to text the number with any further questions. They also checked in a day or so later. There are plenty of videos explaining how to thread, oil, and clear a jam. No regrets with this purchase.

The machine is fantastic. Can't beat it! On top of the product, I'm even more appreciative of the customer service and video tutorials available. To me that was the inevitable reason I went with techsew.
